Part Time Opportunities
The Town of Windham, New Hampshire is presently
accepting applications for the following part time
position in our Community Development Department.
ZBA/CONSERVATION COMMISSIONS ASSISTANT (PT Position)
Reporting to the Planning Director, the candidate will perform
administrative work for the Zoning Board of Adjustment and the
Conservation Commission. Candidates will be required to assist the
public with routine inquiries in a professional courteous manner.
Candidates must be able to work with a considerable degree of
independence, exercise good judgement in answering inquiries
and determining the correct course of action and refers matters
warranting the Directors attention.
Candidates must have considerable knowledge of modern office
practices and procedures. Considerable knowledge of business
English, spelling, arithmetic, and vocabulary, the ability to type
accurately and rapidly; the ability to transcribe letters and reports
and the ability to maintain accurate records and files. The ability
to communicate in oral and written form and to establish and
maintain effective working relationships with other departments,
employees, and the general public is required.
